My Cat’s Saving Procedure

My cat, Caddy, is one of my loves that have made my life of complete chaos bearable. There is so much going on with my life at this unforgiving time of life.... my mom saved Caddy when he was dumped by a neighbor who moved. Left him with a collar on. He somehow got his leg caught in the collar. Was walking on only three legs for weeks. She tried to coax him to her for a couple of weeks and little by little he came close enough that she tried to cut the leather collar off... she thought unsuccessfully. He ran off and she didn’t see him again for days.  She sat each day hoping he would come back and he finally did... she saw the collar had come off, but the collar had rubbed him so raw he had two major sores.  He finally started coming around and she coaxed  him into the house.  He has been with her ever since. My mom has now been through Hospice and survived to end up in a nursing home.  He is now my pride and joy.  We found out yesterday that he has hyperthyroidism and needs a procedure to save him. He is too young to not have this procedure that he may live so much longer. He is my sweet boy and I can not afford this ptrocedure for him....please can you please help?  Any amount is greatly appreciated.  I would gladly pay you all back when I can.
