My Car Needs a New Radiator

Recently my radiator began to leak, and when I took it in to my mechanic, he told me that it could not be repaired because it is made of aluminum, it needed replacement. Plus he found that the attached hoses could burst at any time due to such high internal pressure from the flowing coolant. He said they also need to be replaced. Plus having to add new coolant, a new thermostat and adding labor, it will cost me 800.00.
I'd be destitute without my car.
