Hello Family & Friends,
It's me, is Benita, and I am in the process of transitioning from working as a classroom teacher to becoming a school guidance counselor. I am currently enrolled at Cambridge College in the Psychology and Counseling Program, to obtain a masters degree/licensure in School Guidance Counseling (grades 5-12).
I am a Cambridge College Alumni (I received my BA in Multidisciplinary Studies, with a major in Education in 2010, (with a 3.60 GPA), for which I was awarded several undergraduate state/private scholarships and grants. I also obtained my first Masters Degree in Education from Lesley University in 2014 (with a 3.85 GPA).
I started classes this week, and I'm in the process of raising money to pay for my three 2020 summer courses. My courses are $1,722.00 (per course), and the total cost for the three courses is $5,166.00. I am currently unemployed and unfortunately, I didn't receive any of the grants and scholarships I applied for this summer, and I am not eligible to receive any financial aid.
I was just made aware by Cambridge College this week that the deadline to pay for these three summer courses in full is July 1, 2020. Any amount that you can donate (no amount is too small) would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much in advance for your donation(s).
