My brothers name is John. Last summer, he was involved in a major motorcycle accident. He got cut off on a major highway and ended up colliding with the back of a car. He was flung off of his bike, over the car he collided with, and then rolled what's estimated to be over 500 feet. He suffered severe road rash covering his back, arms, legs, and buttocks. He now has three herniated discs in his neck. He was thankfully wearing a helmet, but regretfully, no other gear. His helmet cracked, but it saved his life.

He was out of work for around 5 months. He had no income, and no health insurance so he had to pay for all of his medical and living expenses using his credit cards. They are now all maxed out, and he needs help. He is $24,000 in debt and it's taking a major toll on him.

Before the accident, he was a mechanic. He loves cars, working on them, seeing the, and he even tells me what engine a car has when its passing by. He doesn't even have to see the car! Unfortunately, he isn't able to work as a mechanic anymore because of his herniated discs. A major part of being a mechanic is looking straight up when you're under the car that is on a car lift.

He got a job at Walmart eventually, and managed to find a truck cheap enough to where he'd get approved for a car loan. A few weeks later it caught fire when he was working. He now has no car, and relies on my mom for transportation. She is absolutely willing to do it, but she is disabled, and it can be hard for her to drive 45 minutes away to pick him up from his job as a pool cleaner. He went from making a decent living, to barely scrapping by.

My brother was doing amazing before the accident. He had a good mechanic job, he was planning on buying a house this year. But unfortunately, this accident has put his life on pause.

He has helped me with my bills, he helped our mom with hers, and he's helped our dad with his. I'm in college and can't exactly help him financially, so this is me trying to help him now.

I set the goal to $15,000, but anything will help. He is in desperate need of help.

I want to thank anyone who donates to him. It means a lot.
