My Beloved Brother, Rick Cox

My brother Rick lost his life on Thursday, January 4th 2018 at the age of 47. He gave life to two beautiful daughters and three grandsons. He was also a wonderful uncle to my children. He was and will always be the guardian angel in my time of need. Rick was absolutely everything to me. He was there when I thought I was going to lose my wife and child. He was my rock to hold onto and my light when I couldn’t see. He was always comforting and calm when everything and everyone was going crazy. Anytime my world seemed like it was coming apart, he was there to hold it together. Rick’s soul was pure and had every good intention to put others before him. He was all of this as he battled Crohn’s Disease for nearly 13 years. Rick lived with me for 5 years and was able to restore his health. I have unspoken regrets and grief that is weighing my heart down. After all he has done for me, this is the last time I will get to “repay” him back. Due to his condition, he could not work and was on disability. He did not have any life insurance and we need help covering the cost of the funeral. If we can raise a little more than 2K we may be able to cover cremation services that is taking place on Thursday, January 11th. Please help us rest his soul and celebrate his life!
