My Battle Against Lymphoma

On October 3rd, 2020 I was diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.  It is a curable blood cancer but unfortunately my doctors will not really let me leave my house with the exception of going to doctors appointments or my tri-weekly five day long inpatient chemotherapy treatments at the hospital, unless I really need to(which sometimes I have no choice). So needless to say I am out of work for an unknown amount of time.  While my insurance covers most of my medical bills, It’s been a struggle to ask for things like help taking care of my animals, money for various simple things such as deodorant or paper towels among many other things.  I am at a point where I often have to sleep most of my days and I can barely do anything most take for granted like cleaning my home. When I actually am hungry I can generally eat a hot pocket or put some chicken strips in my air fryer, but that’s not exactly the healthiest way of eating. Sometimes it would be good to be able to order the delivery of a more healthy meal or arrange to get a cleaning service to do things that I either shouldn’t or can not do. As I can’t really work any donations would be appreciated, as they will help me be able to purchase things I need or pay bills that I couldn’t get grants for, without having to feel so small and beg others for money.  While this is me asking, and any help would be appreciated, at least for me it doesn’t feel like I’m begging. In this difficult time your generosity makes me feel less of a loss of dignity than I already have experienced. If I’m lucky enough to hit my goal or even get halfway to it, it would be a huge help. Even after I’m cured of PMLBCL there is still a 40% chance that I will get another blood cancer in the two years that follow. So while I’m not sure how far away I am to the end of this war with cancer, I know any help makes my journey that much easier. Thank you for your consideration.
