My apartment wall collapsed

On Monday morning of August 7th the building next to my apartment collapsed. Because we share the same wall the city of NY forced me to move out with my wife and cats. We had to leave everything other than what we could quickly pack up. Leaving all our belongings, and my $10k music and production studio!

Red Cross got us a hotel for 2 days, then we went to an Airbnb. Hopeful that we could move back into our apartment in 1-2 months

However we have just been informed that the city now needs to tear down the entire wall that went between our 2 buildings, exposing all we own to the elements with only a tarp for security. This means that Lily and I alone, because movers will not enter a dangerous building, need to pack up our entire life and move it into a storage space.

Bed, couch, dressers, clothes, furniture, living room electronics, 2 desks, 3 drums sets, multiple keyboards, multiple tower computers, tons of cables, EVERYTHING!!!!

I’m asking you for help. Our Airbnb is much more expensive than our former home, a large NYC storage space big enough for a 2 story apartment will be very expensive, renting a truck and movers, and not being able to use my studio for music lessons and my signature 13 camera music and video game livestreams will put a huge hole in my personal cash flow. We also need to quickly find a new place to live. Another very expensive situation living in NYC.

I feel so bad asking for help, but I am truly desperate, devastated, scared, and incredibly sad.

All I have done my entire life is follow my dreams, try to perform, and attempt to make the world a better place through my art. This is easily one of the most difficult situations of my life. Please help if you can.

!!!UPDATE!!!

- Lily and I got a new apartment

- Almost all of our belongings where saved and have been moved to the new place

Now it’s time to rebuild our lives and rebuild my studio.
