Medical Mission Trip To Guatemala

I am excited to announce that I have committed to my first international mission trip - a 7 day medical mission to Guatemala from October 13-21. I will be working with Mission Impact through Munson Medical to bring necessary medical attention to remote tribal communities. These people of God have little access to clean water, cooking sanitation, and sanitary sewers - all which contribute to an overabundance of diffuse health problems. In America, many of these health problems have basic solutions available in order to cure; however, the villages we are going to have no access to medical care - no doctors, nurses, nor medications. While this is a dire and life-threatening problem, it is also a fixable one. Our mission is to provide necessary care to solve immediate health problems, as well as begin the development of a permanent clinic to provide medical need even when our team isn’t physically present.  Our long term goal is to work with the village community and religious leaders to create a plan to improve village health for years to come.

Monetary donations will help support travel costs as well as medical supplies to help provide care to the people of Guatemala.
