The Nicholas Mirante Memorial Fund

Beschermde donatie
My nephew, Nick Mirante, passed away unexpectedly February 15, 2015, while in Atlanta, where he was in treatment for his addiction. He was 19.

He left behind his loving parents Lisa and John, sister Jessica, niece Audri, grandparents Ray and Cecilia and Vince and Willie, a great-grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Nick fought valiantly to beat his disease. His addiction was his battle in life. It's not who Nick was as a person. He was much, much more. He was a son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin, and friend.

He loved his family and was never afraid to show it. Whether it was doting on his niece, wrapping you in a big hug or mowing the lawn for his Papa, Nick was never afraid to show how much he cared for the people in his life and always offered to lend a helping hand.

Nick enjoyed spending time at his grandparents' cabin where he'd go crabbing and huddle next to bonfires on the beach with his sister and cousins.

He was also an athlete and sports fan. He played soccer and baseball and absolutely loved supporting his favorite teams - the Seahawks, Sounders, Mariners, and Sonics. Nick also enjoyed skateboarding and riding quads with his buddies.

His passing has left a void in the hearts of all who loved him and, while nothing we can do will bring Nicholas back, we humbly ask for your financial support to help cover the costs associated with returning his remains to his home city of Seattle and funeral services.

On behalf of his parents, sister and everyone who loves Nick, thank you for your support.
We love and miss you, Nick!
