8th Grade Field Trip to Washington, DC

Hi, my name is Kearstin, and I am fundraising to pay my way for a trip to Washington, DC. Each year, 8th-grade students get the opportunity to spend their April break in Washington, DC with their peers, led by the staff at Essex Junction Recreation Department. They will do things such as:

Visit the Arlington National Cemetary

Smithsonian American History Museum

Tour the Pentagon

Tidal Basin-Paddle Boats

Holocaust Museum Tour

Tour The White House/Museum

National Archives

Capitol Tours

House and Senate Galleries

Postal Museum

Natural History Museum

Kennedy Center Production of Shear Madness

Liberty of Congress with tour guide

Supreme Court with tour guide

MLK and FDR Memorials with tour guide

DEA Museum tour

Basilica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

National Zoo

WWll, Korean, Lincoln, and Vietnam Memorials

Smithsonian Air and Space Museum

Newseum

Kearstin needs to register for the trip asap, with a non-refundable deposit, to get a seat on the bus. If she is late to register, she will be placed on a waitlist and won't be guaranteed a spot to go.
