Help Recover Food Truck Dream

In May 2023 after being laid off we started our path to owning a Food Truck. We used some of my 401K to begin a build with a person in Indiana. We provided 80% of the build cost over time frame with the understanding the truck was being built.

After months of promises we never had our truck delivered and reached out to the county attorney in Adam’s County IN. The builder was arrested on several felony accounts for taking money from people and failing to provide the truck. We are waiting for the case to progress, but per the Victim Advocate we may not receive all or even any of our money back.

For those who know me, I typically don’t ask for help like this. Unfortunately we have been unable to obtain funding from other sources.

We are asking for any help on raising enough money to purchase a truck, obtain inventory and pay our vendors who have supported us over the last few months.

$40,000 will help us met this goal. With the summer approaching we don’t want to miss another year.
