My name is CPL Luke Preddice and I am a current serving ADF member. I have deployed to Iraq and other places throughout australia and the world. I am currently employed as a Recon Patrol Commander within 6 RAR.
Throughout my 8.5 years of service I have experienced first hand the effects of Mental health issues and lost good mates and brothers in arms.
Throughout the month of November I will be carrying a 30kg pack for a total of 200km over 20 days IOT raise awareness and money for Veterans Mental Health.
At the end of the month the members of 6 RAR will vote on a Veterans charity to receive the amount raised.
Please take the time to share and donate but most importantly ask the hard questions and bring the darkness of mental health issues into the light.
