NataShalom Online Music Mentoring Programme for young Black boys.
(age 8-18).
This mentoring programme will provide one to one music sessions in addition to providing a mixture of holistic group sessions in health and fitness, bible study, music business and entrepreneurship.
The mission for the programme is:
To offer a safe, nurturing
environment for learning, growth
and personal development.
To build links and opportunities
into the music and creative
industries for young talented boys
from African and Afro-Caribbean
backgrounds.
To raise educational attainment of
young boys from African and Afro-
Caribbean backgrounds and to
inspire disenfranchised young boys
to see their self worth and value.
The funding will be used to provide scholarships for boys who show great potential within the music field who otherwise would not afford to pay for the full cost of the programme. This includes providing the boys with highly experienced and talented teachers within their different field of expertise, instruments and administration costs to facilitate the programme.
The programme will be launched late spring/early summer 2021
