Music by female composers

We are Vera Kooper (pianist) and Maria du Toit (clarinettist), and we are so excited to be recording our first album together for Channel Classics! We will record music for clarinet and piano by female composers. Many of the pieces are unknown, and quite a few will be recorded for the very first time. It will be a refreshing mix of styles and moods and we are certain you will love it! We will record works by: Ivy Priaulx Rainier, Grace Oforka, Maria Elisabeth von Sachsen-Meiningen, Clémence de Grandval, Grazyna Bacewicz , Ida Gotkovsky, Francine Aubin, Lise Morrison, Barbara Woof, Germaine Tailleferre, Theresa Martin and Sarah Feigin.

Please help us to cover the costs for making this a reality. So much time and effort goes into recording an album, that it's no surprise it's a costly affair. We would appreciate every single donation so much!

Level 2: If you donate €50 or more, we will send you two signed cd's and a signed poster.*

Level 4: If you donate €1000 or more, in addition to our eternal gratitude, will give you 5 cd’s to give away to your favourite people plus a free (house) concert anywhere in the Netherlands! If you want to claim this reward outside of the Netherlands, we’ll have to talk about travel expenses.
