Music and Memory for Daybreak
Tax deductible
My daughter, Tobi’s activity center, Daybreak (a part of the Mary Lee Foundation) is starting a program, Music and Memory. This program utilizes personalized playlists on MP3 players to help people with cognitive challenges increase memory and communication, decrease negative behavior and have deeper connections with others. The program is featured in the documentary film Alive Inside. Music has always been a big part of Tobi’s world and has made a significant difference in her quality of life. I would love to see her activity center spread this joy to all the other Daybreakers. To get the program off the ground, they will need 60 MP3 players with the capacity to store at least 100 songs. Please help with what you can afford to bring more music into their lives. These donations are tax deductible.
