Muscle Heart

Donation protected
William “Muscle Bill” Elliott was born with Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia, a rare condition that prevents him from properly eliminating the “bad cholesterol” from his body. This has resulted in weekly visits to the hospital since his birth to have his blood filtered for the “bad cholesterol”. Bill has had one previous heart surgery, which took place at the age of 8 to improve his health by reducing the build up of cholesterol plaque inside his arteries. Since then Muscle Bill has prolonged his return to the operating room until now!

Muscle Bill underwent a major heart surgery that took place on Friday, May 25th, 2018. He has had an aortic valve replacement, aortic artery stem replacement, along with 1 bypass. This procedure lasted approximately 20 hours. Presently, Bill is still in the Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital in London, Ontario. He is just starting to come around after the major surgery and still needs time to recover.

Bill is expected to remain in the hospital for a minimum of 8 days before being sent home. Once he returns home a tough road lies in front of him. Muscle Bill will be faced with many daily challenges while being unemployed. High medical bills and living expenses can be stressful for anyone, especially for someone who has just had major heart surgery!

Bill is a genuine man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He deserves both a strong homecoming and a much-needed break after major heart surgery! Any contributions will be greatly appreciated! All proceeds will go towards the return of Muscle Bill!
