Mural Panel Project
Donation protected
The Mural Panel Project is an interactive mural project dedicated to fostering conversation and dialogue among different communities through art. At the start of its inception, the project looked at Racism, Colorism, Homophobia, and Classism in relation to the experiences of students, faculty, and staff on the campus of Davidson College. For more details, here is the project description as found on the Projects for Peace website. As this project continues to evolve, the goal is to move these panels to different locations and address new topics. Currently, the panels are located at the Levine Museum of the New South in Charlotte, NC. They will be changed in response to the developing Black Lives Matter movement in Charlotte.
These funds will be used to compensate artists for their creative labor as the panels change and to continue the mobile process of changing locations. The sustainability of the project resides deeply in financial support to continue the potential for this project.
Thank you for your support!
