In June 2023, during a visit to my father’s rural home in Zimbabwe, I had the opportunity to meet the students and teachers at Muponda Primary School. It was evident that the school is facing significant challenges due to Zimbabwe's difficult economic conditions, with declining graduation rates and a lack of essential resources.

 

Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of donors, we raised funds to provide textbooks, stationery, and sanitary products for girls, among others. This effort led to an astonishing 400% improvement in the school's pass rate, from 11% to 45%—a truly transformative achievement in just one year!

 

This year, our goal is to raise and additional $1,500 to continue making a difference. The funds will be used to purchase school uniforms, lower-grade textbooks, and computers for the school.
