Jacob Meijer's Cancer: KICK Sarcoma

Bishop Verot Catholic High School Sophomore Jacob Meijer felt some pain in his right arm after lacrosse practice in January 2015. Being an avid football and lacrosse player, he was used to hard work and intense conditioning, but a few weeks later, his arm pain seemed to get worse and kept him up one night. It was time to go the ER. A mass was discovered in his right humerus, which was radiating pain down to his bicep. He has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, and he has a long, hard road ahead of him. We are blessed that this was found early and is considered treatable and curable. This is not a cost any one plans for, and we are discovering more and more expenses at a rapid pace. This fund is in place to help with those costs, including meds, doctor bills, travel to Moffitt Cancer Center, Jacob's education, and all unforseen things we haven't imagined yet. Any and all help and prayers are deeply appreciated by Jacob and his family as we work and pray hard to KICK this osteosarcoma.
