Mum's (Anna) Cancer Care

Carer for Mum which would start in approximately 2 weeks, here is my story Mum was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on her face in early 2017, she had surgery to remove the cancer in April and was due to start radiation after her graft had healed, after 4 weeks the Cancer had come back in a similar area of her face, but this time also in her neck and hot spots in her lungs. Her 1st 5 day round radiation began in July as to which the cancer had shrunk, Mum was then to start chemotherapy, her first round had started on a Tuesday by Friday she was admitted in to hospital with an infection, during this time treatment had stopped. The following Tuesday she was released to come home. She was then to start her next round of chemotherapy on a Tuesday again, they had taken her blood and had found her calcium level was quite high at that point she was unable to her IV treatment but was sent home to only take the chemo tablets, by Friday the 6th of October Mum was then admitted into hospital again, she is being treated for another infection. The family have now been told that the cancer is so aggressive that it is moving at a rapid pace, they have now given her up to 2 months of life. Due to the infection there is currently no treatment for the cancer. We would like to have Mum at home, in her own environment and sorounded by the people who love her and who she loves the most. In order to do this a chosen family member (Sasha) will become her primary carer 24/7 with palative care nurses stopping in 3 times a day. I will need to take leave from my job to support Mum in this process. Being that I have only been employed at my current job for 12 months i was entitled to 4 weeks annual leave and 8 sick days, since April I have already taken this time off already to be there for Mum and also appointments, I even have a supportive boss who had paid me for 1 week extra, The past few weeks I have now taken leave without pay and am Currently finding this very difficult to stay on top of my own personal needs, bills, food etc..... while Mum is still in hospital I will try and work as much as I can to cover most things but these next 8 weeks will be extremely difficult, not only for me financially and emotional but also emotionally for my family. If anything is to happen to Mum after the money is raised and I am able to go back to work, the remaining money will go towards her funeral cost. This is extremely had for me to ask people for their help and for their own money as I never thought I’d ever be in a position like this,
