Help Muhammad and his family evacuate Gaza

Hello my friends. I am Muhammad Al-Qahwaji from Gaza and I want to tell you my story.

Me and my family currently live all together in a tent at the displaced camp, all 8 of us. With me is Subhi (68), Sabah (62), Suleiman (25), Ghada (35), Hala (13), Reham (26), Julia (9 months old), including myself. My father Subhi Al-Qahwaji had an operation back in Jerusalem of 2018.

The operation was done on his spinal cord and because of that my father has become disabled and now uses a walker. Normally he would receive his physical therapy but due to the circumstances he cannot have the proper care.

Here the suffering is non-stop, we lost our home, our loved ones and many more. We live in constant fear and we ask each and one of you to find it in your hearts to help us. The person organizing this fundraiser has been kind enough to help us share our story as we have difficulties connecting to the internet.

We are urgently seeking assistance to get our family out of Gaza. We have evacuated numerous times, searching for safe shelter. Nowhere in Gaza is safe. Every area is being targeted, and bombings occur without any warning. The places they were told to flee to are continuing to be targeted. For survival, we need to raise $7,000 per person to leave Gaza through the Egyptian border (the Rafah checkpoint). As you all know the prices at the border change everyday. In hopes of saving our beloved family, we hope you can assist in bringing them safety and protection. Prices keep changing day by day as Gazans try to flee.
