Mud Puppies Employee Relief Fund

The coronavirus pandemic has brought Austin to a halt. As a result, Mud Puppies employees who rely on hourly wages are suffering, having seen their daily income all but disappear overnight. We are doing everything we can for them, but without business income, it is impossible for us to keep them on the payroll.
Government relief efforts may be helpful, but are slow to arrive, and will not come close to making our employees whole. Unemployment payments are typically only 50% of lost wages.
To help them, I’m starting this donation drive, hoping to raise at least $40,000, of which 100% will be distributed evenly among all our employees who have been furloughed. Company owners will not be included. If we are able to raise that amount, it would provide approximately $1200 cash to each employee.

We are so grateful for the relationships we have forged with our employees, dogs, and their families, and will be so thankful for your support during this unprecedented national emergency.
