Much needed medical care

Some of you may know my brother in law, James.  For those of you who don't, James is a loving, caring, and great husband, father, and friend.  James was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as a young adult and although it hindered him in some ways, he never let it take over his life.  He worked very hard and supported his family . Unfortunately within the past 10 years James’ diabetes took a turn for the worse and he developed severe spinal stenosis.  This has led to needing Cervical Laminectomy surgery. In order to do this surgery the doctors had to perform an MRI. Right after the MRI, James suffered a serious heart attack and he needed to have immediate heart surgery where metal stents were placed in his heart.  At this point in time the Cervical Laminectomy surgery is necessary but has to be postponed for a minimum of six months because it is very dangerous to perform at this time. James is currently completely immobile due to the spinal stenosis symptoms. He needs full time care in order to do any task such as to eat, pick up a glass of water, or go to the bathroom. He cannot be left alone, he cannot even call in an emergency. He is completely dependent on someone 24 hours a day. Insurance has denied in home health care. Right now, my sister, Rosemarie, is working tirelessly day after day to pay for all of the medical bills that have been coming in. James has been released from the rehab center because they can not afford to have him stay there any longer.

It is difficult to ask for financial help however Iam asking my friends and community to help my family in need right now.  We need to pay for all of the medical bills and surgery, and it is urgent to get a full time aid at home so that Rosemarie can continue to work, as she does not have any pay for time off.  It is an extremely hard situation at this time, but I pray and know that with the help of others, we will be able to get through this very hard time.  If you can, please donate to this go fund me page for my brother in law James.
