Hello friends and fellow travelers! If you’re seeing this message is probably because you have now been following my adventures for a while and are probably interested to show your support towards my brand and what I do! However, if you would like to collaborate but you are new to the Moontraveler Blog community, here is a piece of information for you!

What is Moontraveler Blog and why did the adventure start?

Moontraveler Blog is a website that combines ideas, guides & tips for inspirational responsible tourism. Its aim is to encourage and inspire others to travel around the world and I do this by sharing unique experiences, traveling on my own or partnering professionally with tourism brands, emphasizing the need to support local businesses and to help local communities grow in a more sustainable and responsible way.

It all started in September 2020. I was unemployed and stuck at home due to covid 19 restrictions in Spain. I always had in mind to have a travel blog for the memories, however, since I was using my money to pay a high rent and not being able to find a job in tourism / hospitality (which is my major), I decided to move to Mexico and start my own business based on a travel blog website that offers different services - check here what I offer.

Beginnings are tough! The first 3 months were a breaking point. I managed to create my own website, connect with the right people in the industry and set strong foundations on what my brand stands for nowadays. Then, I started writing in my blog (what a great feeling to finally be sharing what I love about traveling our planet!) and by month 5, I got my first paid gig related to my blog! (can’t quite describe the feeling!). Is now month 7 in this adventure and I already had the chance to work with a couple tourism companies here and there, while I also teach Spanish to sustain myself until the wheel rolls with flow in my tiny but growing business.

Why am I raising funds?

I would like you to know that I am not planning to base my business income foundations on charity. I am an advocate of hard work and this is a fundraiser that will allow my own community and travel addicts who follow my adventures, to support me and my work in the early stages of my business.

Where will the money go?

The money will be mainly used to invest in new equipment for me to be able to do my work. You might know by now that I lost my laptop for good and this is mainly my daily tool to get work done, so the money will initially go destined to buy a similar laptop powerful enough to keep creating the content I need + delivering the work for my clients.

This fundraiser campaign has no end date for now, but believe me when I say that I would be delighted to tell you that things are running smoothly in a few months and therefore the aim of this page would no longer be supporting my work, but also the work of others and helping many other good causes (because, DAMN! there are so many good causes to support!).
