MSGT Rodney Buentello Memorial

On June 8, 2016 San Antonio Marine Corps veteran Master Sargent Rodney Buentello sacrificed his own life to save 2 teenage children dragged under by the current of the Medina river at the Bandera City Park.  I've been tasked with the incredible privilege to help raise funds to erect a memorial in his honor before the Bandera Alumni memorial service on June 11th at 10:30AM.  The cost of the memorial is $2700, every dollar will go towards this goal and anything raised over this amount will be given to Rodney's family.  The Bandera Alumni graciously included Rodney's sacrifice in their memorial service last year as they honored those alumni that have passed.  I hope to meet this goal within a matter of days to help memoralize this hero properly and to honor his sacrifice appropriately.  For all those that contribute I urge you to join us at the service on June 11th at 10:30AM at the Bandera City Park.  "Greater love hath no man, than to lay down his life for another".  God please help us rest his soul and honor his memory.
