CampMed is an undergraduate student run organization at UCI. We outreach to under served local high schools in the area through a long term mentorship program and host an expense free three day medical camp in the spring!
We take about 80 high school students and 45 counselors to the camp and invite medical professionals to talk to the students and put on a series of workshops including ultrasound technique, phlebotomy, intubation, and dental impressions. As undergraduates, we self-fundraise throughout the year to send these students to our camp free. Our goal this year is
$21,000 dollars.
We have about $10,000 dollars to go!
