Dear Friends and Family,
The Stephens family is starting this page on behalf of our brother and son Bart whom we love very much.
Last June Bart was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. This came as a shock for the family, but it banded us together for the journey that awaited us.
At the time of Bart's diagnosis the cancer had spread to the liver and lymph nodes which has now been killed by radiation. This was such amazing news for Bart and the family, but soon after, Bart started having extreme pain and we learned that the cancer had spread to his small intestine. He is currently being treated with a chemo cocktail and will have to start seeking new forms of treatment soon. Many new treatments are not covered by insurance and cost a lot of money.
Bart has touched many of our lives in so many ways and he needs our support now more than ever!
As his family and friends, we are asking you all to consider making a donation to relieve Bart of the many financial challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis and seeking new treatments.
