Connor's Treatment Fund

Hi my name is Connor Shanta. I am a 21 year old college student who suffers from FSH Muscular Dystrophy. This degenerative muscle disease prohibits my body from being able to build muscle and gain strength. I have now become so weak that walking is a strenuous activity and I have to ride a mobility scooter on campus in order to get around. I was diagnosed in 2003 shortly after my 10th birthday and had to give up basketball and all sport activities that I love dearly. This disease has no known cure and treatments such as steroid supplements only try to slow down the degenerative process. However, recently a wondrous new treatment device called VECTTOR, invented by Dr. Rhodes, has shown amazing results in clinical trials. All patients suffering from different types of Muscular Dystrophy who participated in the trials have shown tremendous increases in strength, muscle mass, and coordination. Some patients in the 18 month trials have now shown upwards of an 800% increase in strength. Kids who were stuck in permanent wheelchairs because they lost the ability to walk have literally been able to take walking steps for the first time in years. In short VECTTOR appears to be completely reversing this disease in patients and curing their bodies, something I have been told the last 11 years was impossible. This device is truly performing miracles in individuals suffering from all types of Muscular Dystrophy and I would like nothing more in this world than to give it a try and see for myself if it truly can cure me of this disease. The device is $4,950 and Dr. Rhodes must train all individuals for 5 days on how to operate the device. His office is in Houston, TX and I live on the East Coast of North Carolina. I am asking you for donations so that I can purchase the device and pay for traveling expenses and hotel costs for the 5 day training period for myself and a traveling companion to help me with my luggage and learning the device. With your generous donations I hope to achieve my goal of $10,000 so that I can start my uphill battle towards recovery. It is my hope and dream that this device will help me to one day be able to play my friends in basketball as well as carve up the ski slopes. With your help I know that this will become a possibility. Thank you for your thoughtful donations.
