Classroom Makeover
Donation protected
Many of you know about the horrific events that took place on February 14th at Stoneman Douglas HighSchool. My close friend is a teacher at Douglas , and lost everything in her class room as it’s in the building where the shootings took place.
This building/classrooms will not reopen.
Students and teachers went back to school last week and are trying to create classrooms wherever they can so some are even in old storage closets, etc. Mostly all of the teachers will have to spend their own money to make these rooms special for their students and to bring back some type of normalcy.
Teachers take pride and go out of their way to make their classrooms a home away from home for their students at their own expense and as we know teachers don’t exactly get rich teaching.
With the funds we are looking to raise, we will help decorate her room and other make shift rooms at Stoneman Douglas. This is a therapeutic way for children to get back to something “semi normal”/get back to being kids at school and for teachers to teach and not have the additional financial burden.
*Please note gift cards to Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Office Depot or any arts and crafts stores are also welcome*

Even the smallest donation will help.
