The MS 442 PTA is asking for donations to support Ms. Contrino and Ms. Emmond and all the cast and crew of our production of Beauty & The Beast, Jr.
MS 442 is a small, Title 1 middle school in Brooklyn NY that has been involved in Broadway, Jr. for years. This year our hard working cast and crew is producing Beauty & The Beast, Jr. This production requires more of a budget than past shows. Our cast of 30 students has been working tirelessly since January to be ready for our May 18 opening. The entire rehearsal, set building, costuming and tech are done after school hours by volunteers. The supplies needed to costume and build a show of this magnitude are beyond our budget constraints.
Additionally, our school recently moved to a new location and the stage and auditorium size are much larger and require us to rent microphones and sound equipment. Our cast and crew need your help raising funds to rent these things, as well as to rent and/or purchase set pieces and costumes and props. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
