MS Warrior Wants To Take The Leap

Hello, my name is Maica. I am a mom of three and I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis. I have a dream and my purpose in life is to make a difference in the lives of people living with MS. I want to become an inspiration and encourage them never to give up.
One of my biggest passions in life is to travel. I love bringing the world to my beloved MS community, of which many are unable to experience firsthand due to this debilitating disease. In 2015, I walked the El Camino de Santiago, a 550 mile walk through France and Spain, on behalf of my fellow MS sufferers.
I am also a 7th and 8th Grade Science teacher with a Masters Degree in Special Education. My passion is to help my students develop positive attitudes and skills that help them gain confidence, self-discipline, foster teamwork, and live a consciously balanced life in pursuit of defined educational, career, and life goals.
Dedicated to personal, spiritual and profesional growth, I recently attended an amazing PSI Seminar in San Francisco. This initial seminar changed my life so much, that I want to further my personal growth journey by attending their second seminar. I believe that you die the day your brain stops wanting to learn.
The second seminar is intense – especially for someone with MS. There are many obstacle courses. One is climbing up a tall pole and taking a leap while catching the trapeze hanging in front of you. I want to take that leap wearing my Official MS t-shirt for all of us with this horrific disease. I want others to look at me and say, "Because of you, I didn't give up today!"
The cost of the 7-day second seminar is $4,950 plus airfare and lodging. However, being a single mom, I am unable to afford the second seminar.
Please help me climb the pole!!!!!
Lastly, I want to land on the Ellen DeGeneres show to raise MS awareness and be your voice and tell what it is to live with MS.
