This fundraiser was created to help the Smith family deal with the financial burden as they struggle with the devastating loss of loved ones in such a short amount of time. Gene Kinard passed just one month after his grandmother and just weeks after his great grandmother. Gene was a loving fiance and an extraordinary father, leaving two children behind both under the age of three. His mother, Joyce Smith, in addition to her extreme grief, and major health issues, cannot afford the stress of the financial burden. She, along with his children and fiance needs all of the help they can get at this point, even if it's just a $1.
