MRTL Impact- Hurricane Harvey

As all of you are aware, many Houstonians were significantly impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The devastation has been wide-spread, but two of our very own have been directly impacted - Trey Schoenfield and Dichelle Hogues. Both of them are currently displaced from their homes due to flooding. Trey’s home experienced approximately 6 feet of water and as of today (9/7/2017), his home is still inaccessible due to water remaining in the home. Dichelle’s home took on 2 feet of water and while her family has begun the clean-up effort, the road ahead for both Trey and Dichelle will be long and require a certain level of financial commitment. They both will need alternative living arrangements for some time.

In an effort to help our Munich Re families in need, we would like to raise funds that would be equally shared between the two of them. They must rebuild their lives one piece at a time and how great would it be for their Munich Re family to be a part of that rebuilding.

I am Jennifer Jackson, (most of you know me), but I have organized this campaign so there is a method in place to provide financial support for those who want to help. I have the privilege of working directly with Trey and Dichelle in Finance at MRTL. The funds will go directly to Trey and Dichelle to assist them with their rebuilding process that will include the replacement of personal and household items, to secure and sustain alternative living arrangements and for uninsured home repairs. Trey will directly withdraw these funds and share them equally with Dichelle.
