Mrs. Kenney's Eye Surgery

Mrs. Kenney is a math teacher at Skyline High School that brings light and joy to every class period. She never gives up on her students, and is always willing to help them when they are in need, even if their problem does not involve x and y. Being one of the only teachers qualified for teaching calculus and statistics makes her extremely important to those that have a great passion for math. Along with her prominent role in Skyline High School, Mary Kenney is also a mother of two bright girls and is married to Jim Kenney, another teacher at SHS. They are planning on putting them both through college, so their expenses are limited.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Kenney has recently developed cataracts in both of her eyes, making it difficult for her to teach as easily as before. It seems like she is too young to have cataracts, but it affects her daily life. Writing on the whiteboard while teaching her classes is especially difficult can become a true struggle for her vision. Her vision will only get worse without proper surgery. Recently, her class was informed that her surgery for the cataracts, and for her vision correction, would be very expensive and that she may not pursue it because of these reasons. Her students are determined to raise enough money for this surgery, which would cost $7,500 with insurance. Any donation would be greatly appreciated!
