Need Laptop for School

Hello,
My name is Ron, I recently got out of the United States Marine Corps and started school at Eastern Michigan University studying mathematics and physics. I am currently in my 3rd year of school and now I need to replace my laptop. My laptop got damaged and does not function correctly, it also struggled to perform my school tasks. I need a powerful computer for my upper level classes for programs such as AutoCAD a 3D modeling program. I also need to run many of the advanced Excel features that I use in my math classes like Data Analysis tool pack, Solver plugin, etc. I was looking to buy a MacBook pro for my school work and could use some help raising the funds to help buy the laptop as quickly as possible.
During the summer I did not have the opportunity to work my summer internship with Atlas Air as a powerplant engineer due to CV-19 closing the intern program that I was scheduled to start over the summer. This caused me to live on my short-term savings over the summer these funds are now depleted, and my school GI bill money went to books, training, and cost of living. Now I must save my next few paychecks to afford a laptop for school in hopes to get one before my next school term. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I would be very thankful for anyone helping me to achieve my goal of getting a college degree.
