Mom's Fire Relief Fund

On Thanksgiving night after dinner, my mother started the self cleaning function on her stove. The heat from the oven caused a cutting board nearby to ignite. The flames spread quickly and decimated her kitchen, dining room, and stairwell. The smoke filled the house and stained the walls, leaving no surface untainted. Her two beloved cats, Lucy and Audrey, succumbed to the fumes. My step father was trapped on the balcony and had to be rescued by the firefighters. They got out with their lives but not much else. They had no rental insurance. They are both on a fixed income and struggle to make ends meet. 

My mother is a generous person and if she has two dollars, she will gladly give you one. She is humble and not one to ask for help, so I am asking for her. She needs help covering her living and medical expenses. She is a good person and deserves the help. Anything you can spare to help her out will be greatly appreciated. 

Times are tight and I understand if you are unable to help financially. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated just as much. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
