Mr. Brightside Scholarship

In the early hours of December 26th, the ASVA said goodbye to one of our own. Josh Marshall honorably served 4 years in the US Navy. Upon his separation, Josh began his education at Auburn University. He was scheduled to graduate in the Spring of 2022 with a degree in Professional Flight. During his time at Auburn, Josh became the Philanthropy Director of the ASVA, a member of the War Eagle Flying Team, and a participant of the 2020/2021 Operation Iron Ruck Campaigns. Josh’s love for life will be missed, and we hope to continue his legacy of living life to the fullest!

In honor of Josh, the Marshall family and the Auburn Student Veterans Association have decided to set up an annual scholarship fund for student veterans at Auburn University. This scholarship will be used in the years to come to help student veterans demonstrating a financial need. This scholarship will be given to students that embody the spirit and love for life that Josh portrayed to others every day.
