We represent the 501(c)(3) non-profit APAPA, Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs. APAPA works to empower Asian and Pacific Islander Americans in civic and public affairs through education, active participation, and leadership development. This year we would like to raise funds in order to pay for the travel costs for several Ausin APAPA interns to attend the annual International Leadership Conference in California, August of this year. Here is some background information on the conference:
In 2013, VNA launched their first annual International Leadership Conference, a three-day educational empowerment summit for college students, recent graduates and young professionals.
The annual conference held at UC Berkeley has grown from 100 attendees to this year’s anticipated 250 attendees.
