The Great North Run for Zoe's Place Baby Hospice
Tax deductible
On the 9th September 2019, I will be running the Great North Run in support of Zoe's Place Baby Hospice.
Based in Middlesbrough, Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice offers 24-hour respite and palliative care for children from birth to five years of age, suffering from a life-limiting or life-threatening illness.
Zoë’s Place is a registered charity and with government and local CCG funding being minimal, the organisation relies on charitable donations, without which it simply would not be able to function.
I spent a lot of time at Zoe's on placement during the second year of my medical degree and witnessed first-hand the amazing care and support that the hospice provides to children and their families that require their services either for respite or end-of-life care. There was not one time I left Zoe's without being in awe at the dedication and compassion of the staff, who work tirelessly to ensure that each and every child at Zoe's is relaxed and having as much fun as possible.
Thank you so much for reading my page. If you are able to donate, then please be assured that you are helping an incredible organisation continue the invaluable work that they do so well.
