Miranda's Study Abroad Trip

Hello EVERYONE,
I am so excited to announce that I recently got accepted into a study abroad program in London!
This program will be for the whole Spring semester-- approximately six months. I have always been fascinated with how people operate and function in various social settings, and this is one reason why I was compelled to take my studies outside the U.S.
I’m currently majoring in Intercultural Communications, which involves how people from differing cultural backgrounds communicate. Without a doubt, this program will give me the chance to expand my knowledge on how social groups operate outside of my own society.
My studies will primarily focus on social change in society and political relations between different countries. These opportunities will be available to me through the Roehampton University communication program. I will not only be learning about the intricacies of society but also applying them to my everyday interactions with new people around me. My hope is to create relationships that will follow me as I pursue my future professional goals.
Studying outside of the country has always been a dream of mine. Upon acceptance to the program, I understood how important it was to start saving and preparing for this trip. I am specifically fundraising for room and board, in addition to daily living expenses for the six-month period of being out there.
I am extremely thankful for this opportunity, and all of you who partner with me in contributing to this trip.
