Fresh Start 2018 - MPS Lunch Payoff
Donation protected
DISCLAIMER: This is a privately organized fundraiser. Donations are made to GoFundMe and NOT made directly to McAlester Public Schools Child Nutrition Program (although that is where they are going). As such, donations to this GoFundMe are not currently tax-deductible. Thank you for giving out of the goodness of your heart!
McAlester Public Schools Pre-K through 4th grade students eat free due to a federally-funded program. At our other schools, however, many students have unpaid balances on their meal accounts.
Are you looking for a way that your family can help our community this holiday season? Help us give the students of McAlester Public Schools a fresh start in 2018 by paying off all outstanding meal balances! The total balances per school are as follows:
McAlester High School: $1,038.87
Puterbaugh: $280.65
Parker: $669.87
all for a total of $1,989.39.
That's all it would cost our community to completely wipe the slate clean and give 100% of McAlester Public Schools students a fresh start to the new year, owing nothing on their school lunches!
Any funds raised beyond the goal will go towards the MPS Child Nutrition fund to help offset balances accrued for the rest of the 2017-2018 school year.
