Moya - Supporting Hospitals in Zimbabwe
The recent Coronavirus pandemic has highlighted many areas of need within our society.
Due to COVID-19 many local hospitals and other healthcare facilities across the world have been in desperate need of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), with doctors and nurses having to treat patients without proper protection.
As a Zimbawean woman with many family members currently living in Zimbabwe I recognise that there is a need for PPE in order to manage the outbreak and for infection control. I my aim is to raise funds and use them to contribute to purchasing, visors , face masks, gloves, and nebulisers to hospitals in Zimbabwe. I will be prioritising hospitals in rural areas as they are in dire need.
Many doctors and nurses are currently on strike due to PPE shortages. Getting supplies to those in need will help save the lives of everyone involved whilst helping to slow the spread of COVID-19 and providing health care workers with the supplies they desperately need.
100% of the funds raised will be used to purchase products and supplies for donation. I believe this is an opportunity for us to come together. Too often we complain and at some point we mus take action to drive positive change.
I am also selling face masks and 20% of proceeds from each sale will be going towards raising money for this campaign.
Updates will be provided throughout the process.
I hope to be able to send supplies as soon as possible
Thank you in advance
Stay Safe,
