Mowglis Shunt Surgery

Mowgli is one of the few chocolate labs to have a portosystemic shunt. At 4 months old, he is two surgeries in and counting. Basically, nutrients can't get to his liver. He will have to have a surgery to hopefully clamp the valve to fix it. He will be on a special diet, exercise regimen and medications for the rest of his life. Without surgery, he is unlikely to live past his first year. He's the sweetest and strongest little guy out there.
