MOVING MOUNTAINS FOR MOBILITY

Friends- my name is John Cairns. I am the Founder and President of WHEELCHAIR OF HOPE FOUNDATION. Wheelchair of Hope Foundation  assists in providing gently used mobility devices, such as manual or power wheelchairs, scooters, children's sport chairs to individuals in need at no cost, who otherwise would not have resources of their own.

Providing mobility where mobility was non-existent opens the flood gates of opportunity, of choices to pursue their full potential and contribute to community and society. This provides a quality of life of dignity and respect, while alleviating an economic social burden while enhancing an inclusive attitude towards life.

Friends- as a double amputee above the knee, I successfully conquered and summited the worlds tallest independent mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa on August 7th, 2016.

I am extremely excited to announce to further augment through leading by example, I will be climbing BaseCamp Mount Everest May 1st, 2018.

My ultimate purpose of this monumental achievement is to inspire, to encourage, to empower, to enhance human potential, human achievement, to turn dreams into reality, that despite your circumstances, you can achieve your full potential towards living life with power, passion and purpose. 

This epic journey will take the place of our Wheelchair of Hope Foundation 2018 Gala. Your contribution and support will continue to aid in acquiring and the refurbishing of mobility devices.

I am raising the bar at $10,000. I have faith that your support and belief in me, this financial goal will attain it's summit!
