Moving Dad Toward A Kidney

My dad Dennis ended up in ICU in Spring 2018 and has been on dialysis three days a week ever since. he is a suitable transplant candidate and I will be tested as a living donor. Here's the rub: he has to spend a month or two close to the transplant center and has to show that he can afford to temporarily rent within that radius.

My dad gave up everything to be a single parent. Literally gave my mother everything in exchange for custody of my little sister and I. He worked all the overtime he could get, and still made sure that he was present.

I'm not a kid anymore, but I still need my dad. I want my grands to know him.
