Move-In/Move-out Costs

Nothing tragic here.  Except that I've had a few setbacks this whole year.  From deaths of loved ones, health issues, marital separation, etc., etc., etc. This on top of how NY rents are "Too Damn High" as "Jimmy McMillan" famously declared, and a few other things in the mix that have obliged me to virtually start back from scratch to build a new life for my two girls and I.  Many of you have been there in the past. So, I'm sure most of you understand.

I live in a private dwelling and this grants me no tenancy rights or protections, once my lease expired.  This has turned me into a "month-to-month" tenant.  So, when my land lady gives me a 30 day notice telling me that I need to move out, then I have to move out as early as possible.  I rather be resolved than to have this drag out in court.  However, the rents in NY being as high, me having recently become a single mom, and a few other factors, makes it hard to come up with 1st month's rent, security, & now they ask for last month's rent + the broker fee + move-in/move out costs.

Yes, I'm aware that everyone seems to be going through tough times nowadays, so, I don't expect anyone to give a ridiculously high amount of money.  Basically, anything you give will help my cause.
