MOVE Period: Let's MOVE Forward

Every now and then, we meet someone that makes an impression on us. A person who can challenge us to redefine our status quo. They shift our perception of ourselves and the world around us, and make us believe we can accomplish anything. Destini Robinson is that person.

Destini recently celebrated her five year anniversary of opening her life long dream, a high intensity, full body workout gym she named MOVE Period! Just days after the celebration, the building, where her gym resides, caught on fire. This was a two alarm, five fire departments type of fire that started in the mattress warehouse connected to Destini's gym. Destini, along with her clients and friends, helplessly watched as her dream (quite literally) went up in smoke. Almost everything inside was lost. From exercise balls to stationary bikes to video equipment. Not to mention the building itself. She now needs a new location, new equipment, and a lot of support from all of you reading this! We had no control while we watched Destini's gym go up in flames, but desolation is not what resided within us. What resided within Destini, and the rest of us watching along her side, was an overwhelming feeling of resilience. We knew we needed to MOVE forward!
Since we met her, Destini has always pushed us to try a harder, to be passionate, and never to be afraid to MOVE forward. Now it's our turn to help keep Destini and the Move Period family she has created moving forward.
