5 days after giving birth to her 2nd baby girl, Mindy was experiencing some head pain and abnormal stroke-like behaviors the morning of July 18th. She became unresponsive unexpectedly and an ambulance was called immediately. She was rushed to a hospital where they found blood clots had formed on her brain. Realizing the severity of the symptoms and bleeding on her brain, they airlifted Mindy to a larger hospital where it was discovered that she not only had 2 blood clots that hemorrhaged, but also had a stroke which left her unable to talk and move. She was rushed in for emergency brain surgery to remove the clots, relieve pressure, and clean up the bleeding. She made it through such a risky brain surgery by the grace of God and is still in the intensive care unit being monitored closely. We are asking all of our family and fr
iends to please help with what you can. Any amount, big or small, does not go unappreciated. Even with insurance, medical bills can be a financial burden and not all medical costs are covered - From doctor’s bills, insurance co-pays to travel costs and lost wages.
