Imad / Newcomer to Canada Family Funeral Fund
Donation protected
After less than two months in his adopted land, Imad was looking forward to settling with his young family in the relative comfort and peace of Canada. New beginnings, new potential. Away from the insecurities of his homeland, all Imad wanted was to see his young girls grow and enjoy life out of harm’s way. Unfortunately Imad, the loving, patient newcomer to Canada, loving husband and caring father, unexpectedly passed away on June 23. His passing has brought much sorrow and heartbreak for his family and loved ones. It has also brought very real and immediate needs, most pressing being all the costs associated with a funeral. A dedicated group of people who formed the sponsorship group Windsor Essex Welcomes Refugees: A Community Project, with the support of the Diocese of London-Refugee Ministries (Sponsorship Agency Holder), helped to bring the family to Canada, and are continuing to help them through this crisis but we need your help too. Everything helps.
