Mountmellick GAA's 500km for #CaringForConor

Donation protected
Hello Folks,

We hope you are all keeping safe and well in these continually strange and difficult times.

As a club, we have decided that our players and members are going to come together (while staying apart) this weekend to collectively walk or run 500km in support of our own Conor Grehen.

Conor, son of Dan Grehan and Marie Kennedy was born in September 2020 and he is proudly equal parts Laois and Wexford- he has all the jerseys to prove it!

Since Conor's birth, due to his condition- Tricuspid Atresia and Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome
he hasn't been able to leave the care of Crumlin Children's Hospital. Neither has his mother Marie or father Dan. They have been living in residence in Crumlin Children's Hospital since the day Conor was born.

We can only imagine the stress and worry Dan and Marie have had to face since little Conor was born and therefore we would like to do our part to come together to ease the financial strain which comes along with a situation such as Conor's.

We are asking our players, members and their families to get your legs moving this Saturday or Sunday and walk/ jog or run 5 or 10km and give what you can to support one of our club's smallest but bravest members.

Tag us in your posts this weekend and wear your blue and white with pride as we do our part to help #CareForConor
